How should i tell if my sunburst platies are male or female?

is it pretty hard to tell? what are the signs? Also, can sunburst platies breed with a bumblebee platy? i bought a male bumblebee today(it's easy to tell with those) so if my sunburst platies ae famle can they breed with it? if so, what will the offspring look like? will the offspring be the type with the dominant gene or what?
