Should UK get rid of these Kings & Queens and stick to Presidency?

i mean, im a brit right.. but i still feel all these kings, queens, monarchy etc. are all such traditional concepts.. .. why don't we just adopt pure political power rather than having ''her majesty'' shoved into everything we do and on our money ??.. .
