Why is my bf not texting me?

My bf and I have been dating for a month and were really comfortable with each other but when i text him he barely answers me and he never texts me first? but when were together everything is fine? and we have an amazing time but it's like when were not together i barely no him? i already told him how i felt and he said sorry but nothing changed. I don't want to yell at him cause i'm not that type of girl and im kinda scared to yell at him cause i dont wana loose him. What should i do. and dont say to break up with him cause i really dont want to we have ammmazing times when were together.
