Would you consider 40 miles a long way to drive for a pair of shorts?

i want to go trade in a pair of AE shorts for Hollister shorts but the mall is 40 miles away...is it worth it because i probably won't get another pair of shorts for a year and i think the hollister ones will fit and look better.
